Vivo Gaming Takes the Floor at SBC Summit Barcelona

Vivo Gaming made its debut on the show floor at SBC Summit Barcelona, meeting operators from across Europe, LATAM and Asia to walk through a single idea: live studios built AI-first.

Visitors to the stand saw live roulette, blackjack and game-show tables alongside a preview of the computer-vision engine that would become Vivo Gaming’s signature, real-time recognition, validation and stream QA running behind every table.

It was the first public outing for a roadmap the company has been building toward ever since.

The team meets operators and partners at events across the calendar. Book a meeting with Vivo Gaming, or explore our live dealer solutions.

Vivo Gaming boosts South American offering following GLI certification in Colombia

Vivo Gaming has further expanded its offering in South America upon receiving Gaming Laboratories International (GLI®) certification for several of its leading games in its Colombia and Uruguay studios.

These games include Live Baccarat, Live European Roulette, Live American Roulette, and Live Blackjack. This certification comes only two months after the studios received their GLI certification for GLI-19, IOM and select LATAM standards.

GLI provides world-class testing, certification and professional services to suppliers, regulators, and operators across more than 480 jurisdictions worldwide ensuring the integrity of the iGaming industry.

This announcement follows the recent news that Vivo Gaming significantly upgraded its game offering in Latin America, making English-speaking dealers available to its Latin American operators through its Uruguayan tables, which were previously only available in Spanish and Portuguese.

Ivan Livov, Chief Operations Officer at Vivo Gaming said: “We’re constantly evolving at Vivo Gaming and receiving our GLI certification for these key games in our Colombian studios is a huge step in the right direction. We’re widely regarded as a major player in this part of the world and this news only cements this further.”

Antonino Santangelo, Account Manager for GLI EMEA said: “It’s great to see Vivo Gaming continue to expand their business with the support of GLI. Our global team of experts have been on hand throughout to advise the Vivo team and work with them to deliver the project on time and within budget.”

The 5 Most Popular Live Dealer Casino Games in LATAM

Gambling is one of the most universal forms of entertainment out there. Everyone from the west and the east can enjoy a few casino games every now and then. So, with that in mind, it’s no surprise that Latin America is very much a product of this grand tradition of playing games for money. LATAM is a big fan of casino games, but what are the biggest draw to the casino? And how can you get in on the action? Take a look at our guide to the most popular live dealer casino games in LATAM to see how you can get started.

Blackjack

Blackjack is a game that has infiltrated the cultural zeitgeist in plenty of ways. If you were to hear someone say, “Hit me”, you wouldn’t be confused or feel the need to call the police because it’s clear they’re playing blackjack.

For beginners, blackjack is a great choice. Blackjack comes down to the simple objective of getting as close to 21 without going over with the sum of the cards. You’re playing against the casino, ultimately trying to get closer to 21 but not over, and not under 17. Before the dealer deals you two cards that are visible, you place your bet. You then get to decide what you want to do and place another bet. You can then “hit”, “stick”, “split” or “surrender”. That’s where “Hit me” comes in. You’re asking for another card to get you closer to the 21 total. Stick means to stick with what you have and skip your turn, split means to split two cards of the same value into two hands, and surrender means you give up your bet and exit the game.

You can find live dealer casino games, including blackjack, that will allow you to play out your “hit or stick” moments.

Baccarat

Baccarat is another beginner-friendly game that has particular relevance in Latin America, where its own offshoot has developed. Although thought to be originally developed in France, the game of course travelled with the French to the new world, where it was quickly adopted. And it doesn’t hurt its lasting popularity that Bond has since been known to leave the poker table for a few games of baccarat.

The point of baccarat is to guess what one of the three outcomes will be revealed in the next round of cards. You have the choice of “bank”, “player” or “tie”. When two cards are dealt you have to correctly guess whether the next two cards will cause the bank to win, the player, you, to win, or a tie.

And how do you win? By being the closest to the number nine. It’s that simple. Try out a live dealer casino game of baccarat to see for yourself how easy it is.

Roulette

Roulette is something you can imagine the high society bigwigs of yesteryear enjoying, but they were definitely onto something because roulette has become vastly popular worldwide. It’s a game that anyone can approach and get into for its simple premise. Place a bet on where you think the ball will land on the wheel: simple.

There are variations, not least between the American and European versions of the game, where the US version will add an extra zero. This is the most commonly seen version. In the digital world, you can even find a live dealer casino that will handle all the tossing and spinning for you. You just have to concentrate on betting.

You can bet on a colour, a number, a few numbers or the zero itself. Try a few rounds at the live dealer casino to get used to the different bets.

Casino Hold’em

Casino Hold’em allows poker to be a solo game, where you are essentially playing Texas Hold’em against the house. Handy if you can’t rally the boys together this weekend. You can find live dealer casino hold’em online and practice your poker skills against the casino.

Like poker, the best way to win is by counting odds, making it one of the few casino games that are skill-based, but you’ll get the full immersive experience if you play with a live dealer casino and have a real person dealing you in.

Dragon Tiger

Dragon Tiger is a very simple game to get into, and not too far in concept from baccarat. Your live dealer casino host will deal you two cards initially. One in the dragon betting position and one in the tiger betting position. The one with the higher card wins. So you’re betting on whether the dragon or the tiger has the highest card. Simple.

As you can imagine with a name like that, Dragon Tiger originated in east Asia, but due to its simplicity it is quickly becoming one of the most popular casino games in the west. Try out Dragon Tiger in a live dealer casino to get the full effect and see what you think of it.

The Key Differences Between Live Casino Games and Computer Automated Games

Are you an avid gamer? Have you ever considered looking into live casino games rather than the automated slot and blackjack machines that are common in online casinos? There is a little something extra in those live casino games that is hard to replicate with an entirely bot-based approach. What is that little something? Well, we think it’s a few things. Take a look at our picks for all the ways live casino games win over automated games.

Get a personal experience

It happens to everything. You do something enough; you get tired of it. The repetition becomes dull and soon you’re looking for the next big thing. Even skydiving can get dull if you do it over and over. That’s the trap you fall into with computer automated games. There is the thrill of winning of course, but in between you’re likely to be doing the same thing over and over within the game.

But if you were to try one of the live casino games, there is a much-needed dose of humanity injected into the game. You would be likely to be matched up with a different dealer every time and you can enjoy a smile coming to your screen while you play. There are even live casino games that allow you to interact with other players at the table, so there is even a social element to it. No two visits to the live casino games will be the same, shaking up your online gambling routine.

A genuine win

And this lack of routine to your gambling might be just the thing you need to win. The point of live casino games is to simply stream the game to you. There is nothing that dictates whether you win or lose beyond the cards and Lady Luck. Your live casino games dealer will deal you in and help you play just like any other real-world casino game. You can enjoy a win knowing you earned it.

For example, if you are playing blackjack, a banking casino game, the live casino games option has you play against the house, not an algorithm. There is more chance for an authentic win that way with only the cards on your side.

Share in the victory

And, if you do win, this isn’t a solo experience either. Online gambling can be quite an isolated hobby. You might be alone in a room with a computer or phone, which is fine while you’re spinning or gambling, but when you actually get a win, you’ll want to share it with someone. Live casino games put some more atmosphere back into gambling. If there’s no one in the room when you win, you can at least celebrate with your dealer and maybe a few folks at the table with the right game. Then again, maybe the other players wouldn’t appreciate that.

Feels like the real deal

The best thing about the live casino games is that they bring the casino to you. If you’re missing the casino but can’t get to them, for whatever reason, there is going to be little atmosphere to be had from visiting an automated casino game. If the casino is too far away but you’d love to enjoy the sounds, sights and smells of the real world casino, they can be brought to you via a live stream. You’ll be able to play with a dealer, sometimes other players, and have the casino table and building streamed right to you.

It’s a convenient middle ground

Even better, this means you can enjoy the casino on your own terms. Maybe you’re not looking to socialise too much, so just you and the dealer is fine. You won’t get that option in the real world casino or on the automated games. Say you can’t afford to travel to the nearest casino, which in some states could be Nevada. Then you don’t have to. You can enjoy the casino coming to you via a streaming service. You don’t even have to get dressed up. You can enjoy all the perks of automated online gambling, namely the very little effort required, while still enjoying the atmosphere of the real world casino.

Conclusion

As technology develops, there are more and more ways to go about your gambling habits. You can head to the casino, you can try the online games, or you can hit the middle ground with live casino gaming.

And live casinos are likely to improve as time goes on. There will be more immersive experiences ready to fall at your door, coming to you from everything from your mobile phone to your VR headset. As technology improves and evolves you can bet gambling will evolve along with it.

But for now, the most cutting-edge gambling experience is the live casino option that offers customers the real world atmosphere of the casino without the real world hassle of getting to the casino. Bringing the fun to you.

Player Etiquette of Live Dealer Casino Games: Keeping Your Player Community Safe

As live dealer casinos continue to dominate the gambling market, it comes as no surprise that there are more and more newcomers being directed toward them. However, as a newcomer, there are certain people that are very unclear on how to act whilst playing their live casino game. And as a developer, it’s important to educate these newcomers on how to improve their player etiquette, for the sake of your player community, your business, and the player’s general enjoyment of your product. Read on to find out more about how you can keep your community safe by understanding player etiquette.

New to live casinos?

If you are a new business in the live casino market a good place to start is with your games. Help out new players by releasing games that explain and reward good player etiquette. A live casino is an online casino that brings exciting and interactive live games, thus, allowing players to enjoy real dealers in real time. The process normally includes live streaming from the casino’s side to give players as much of a real-life experience as possible. Similar to standing in a real casino, the players are also able to chat with the dealer and the other players at the table.

Player etiquette

A newcomer player must be made aware that there is such a thing as player etiquette and that they must follow this guide. One of the tips that they should follow is to always show respect to the dealer and the job that they are undertaking. As previously mentioned, there are live chat rooms available to all the players where you can ask any questions that are on your mind or even make small talk with them. Even though players have this option to chat with them, they should remain polite and respectful. They should never let their emotions get the better of you, even when they have lost their game. Keep information clear on the screen of your game to remind them of all of these points. These dealers are there for a job and they don’t want to be asked personal or inappropriate questions that have no relevance to the role they are providing. It is therefore your duty as a developer to protect your employees from intrusive comments.

Also, ensure that players are keeping their personal information to themselves. A customer sharing their information can result in a lot of cyber security problems like hacking or doxing, and if it happens on your platform, you are liable to consequences. If this rule is not obeyed, the player’s profile should be flagged and they should potentially face a suspension or ban.

Advice to follow

A piece of advice that you should always state to your players, is that you should never play whilst deeply intoxicated. Just like in a real casino, playing whilst intoxicated online is highly frowned upon. The main reason for this is that although casinos want to make money, they never want to take advantage of their consumers, and if players are intoxicated, they are more likely to make strange and irrational decisions which can cause their behaviour to change from respectful to disrespectful very quickly.

Another important piece of advice that you should remind them to consider is that they must be prepared to spend. This may sound obvious but a lot of new players are surprised at how much money they will end up spending. Just like visiting a casino in the physical world, they will have to decide on a table that they want to sit at and start gambling. If the table is too expensive for their liking, they should vacate the space and free up the room for a player that will actually spend the money.

It’s important to promote responsible gambling in every aspect of your game. This is why a lot of casino games and casino operators host a range of responsible gambling tools, to ensure your player community is a lasting customer that enjoys their time with you without getting into financial trouble.

Learn the rules

To ensure a fair game, players should always be educated on the rules. There are a few ways you can be sure of this. One way is to make an informed and prominent information menu option available on your game, where the player can read up on the rules. Another is to offer a free demo version of your game so that the player can give it a few rounds without fear of losing their money. Furthermore, there is nothing more frustrating for other gamers than being distracted by your continuous questions, similarly, this can ruin the flow that the dealer is in as they have to answer all of the questions in order to provide the best possible customer service.

How to Choose the Best Live Dealer Games for your Brand

Are you an operator looking to add live dealer games to your brand? Or maybe you already have live dealer games but want to add to your existing portfolio? Either way, it’s critical that you get the games that are appropriate for your player base. There are a number of different factors that you need to take into consideration when choosing the best live dealer games for your brand which we have outlined below.

The Target Geographical Location

If you are looking to grow your brand in another country, or you want to increase the spend or player lifecycle of your existing players and provide them with a more well-rounded experience – their geographical location is key when it comes to choosing games that are the right fit. Make sure you do your research in terms of popularity of games within those specific areas to attract players and choose a provider that can offer those.

You will also want to ensure that the live dealer game provider can accommodate that country, and that they have localised studios to create a personalised experience for those players.

Your Provider is Secure and Compliant

Responsible gambling and fair gaming are at the heart of the iGaming industry. It’s essential that when you choose your live dealer game solution, you select a provider that has these values at their core. Not only will this add credibility to your affiliate peers when promoting your brand, it will also increase the level of trust your players have in your offering.

Vivo Gaming takes compliance incredibly seriously, and it’s at the forefront of everything we do. You can read more about our compliance process and procedures HERE. Make sure you do this before selecting any provider.

You are Working with an Innovative Provider

You need to ensure you are partnered with a provider who is at the peak of their game and consistently innovating. Players expect a lot from an operator site these days as there are so many brands for them to choose from. Do they regularly launch new releases? Are they improving upon their existing games? Are they celebrated by their peers? There are awards and accolades distributed by industry professionals, and you can also get some good information from affiliate portals that allow user generated content. Players often leave star ratings or reviews on their experience of the games on offer.

Reporting and Data

You want to ensure you get a return on investment when adding live casino games to your brand, that’s where the backend analytics come into play. Ideally, you need a full history of reporting tools where you can see all of the necessary data. At Vivo Gaming, we not only offer that – but risk management, statistic tools, CRM management, language support and more. Having the appropriate support in place will be what makes the partnership succeed.

Vivo Gaming partners with Bingo Multiplayer expert END 2 END

We are pleased to announce our partnership with LatAm-based bingo expert END 2 END to supply the company with a live bingo offering.

End 2 End has a 16-year history of developing creative and innovative bingo platforms and providing best-in-class multiplayer bingo technology for online, physical and mixed operations. Based in Argentina and the United States, the provider extended its global reach after being awarded a UK Gambling Commission licence last year.

The live bingo offering will be boosted by Vivo Gaming’s Chroma Key innovation, which replaces a solid colour background with a whole new visual of the operator’s choice. The presenter can be placed in front of any location, animation, brand, logo or graph imaginable.

As well as providing its live dealer services with END 2 END in a bingo capacity, Vivo Gaming also offers baccarat, blackjack, roulette, poker and Dragon Tiger to name just a few products, all available in more than 27 languages and 178 currencies including multiple cryptocurrencies.

The new partnership further boosts Vivo Gaming’s rapidly growing presence in the LatAm market, following on from a series of partnership deals designed to engage players in the region.

Neil Howells, CCO at Vivo Gaming said: It’s far from a secret that LatAm has become a strategically important region for Vivo Gaming. As a result, it’s essential that we partner with the best the market has to offer, especially when it comes to games such as bingo, which resonate so strongly with the audience there.”

“End 2 End offers an unparalleled multiplayer bingo experience that has not been replicated anywhere else on the market and this partnership promises to take both parties to new heights.”

Alejandro Revich, CEO and founder of END 2 END added: “We’re delighted to partner with Vivo Gaming, enabling us to offer our Bingo Multiplayer content through its aggregation platform. As we would expect from one of the most sophisticated live-casino providers, Vivo Gaming has brought the expertise of our companies together, enabling us to create a unique product.

“We’re sure this partnership will enable both companies to extend our existing presence in these markets.”

Vivo Gaming launches Teen Patti and Chroma Key Baccarat

We are pleased to announce that we have significantly upgraded our Bacarrat offering in Uruguay with the addition of Chroma Key and have also launched a new Teen Patti table from our Bulgaria studio.

The Vivo Gaming Chroma Key technology replaces a solid colour background with a whole new visual of the operator’s choice. Dealers working on these new live Baccarat tables can now be placed in front of any location, animation, brand, logo or graphic imaginable using this sleek new tool.

In addition to this, we have now made English-speaking dealers available to our Latin American operators through our Uruguay-based tables, which were previously only available in Spanish and Portuguese, making our games significantly more accessible.

Meanwhile, we have enhanced our Bulgarian tables with the addition of Teen Patti, which will also benefit from English-speaking dealers. A highly popular card game in the Asian market, Teen Patti sees players try to create the highest-ranking combination among all the players with only three cards dealt. The goal is also to maximise the pot or the prize pool to make the greatest winnings.

Ivan Livov, COO at Vivo Gaming said: “We’re simply the top pick for live dealer operators in every market, from South America to the Caribbean and across Europe.

“Now with these advanced offerings, we can offer our customers all over the world an even greater breadth of products and services as we continue to differentiate ourselves from the competition.”

These developments follow Vivo Gaming’s winning of Best Live Casino Supplier at the prestigious EGR Awards in London, beating stiff competition.

Vivo Gaming named Best Live Casino Supplier at EGR Awards 2022

Leading live casino provider Vivo Gaming has won the award for Best Live Casino Supplier at the prestigious EGR Awards last night (June 15th), beating stiff competition.

Over the past year, the company has developed an array of innovative live casino products including its Chroma Key offering, CMS Lobby, Promotional Tournament Tool, Sicbo and Absolute Blackjack. The company has also enhanced its dedicated studios offering, allowing customers to easily customise and localise their live casino.

Vivo Gaming’s Chroma Key offering replaces a solid colour background with a whole new visual of your choice. The dealer can be placed in front of any location, animation, brand, logo or graph imaginable.

Its new CMS Lobby boasts a unique interactive lobby with a live thumbnail, allowing players to intuitively navigate the system. This unique live casino addition also allows for a fully interactive inter-player chat on both desktop and mobile in landscape and portrait modes.

The Promotional Tournament Tool engages customers with a plethora of amazing prizes, displaying boosters and the potential of big wins, all while letting them know in real-time when they are close to the top-spot of the leaderboard.

Integrating features such as unlimited players, a countdown timer, player rankings and real-time communication, operators will be able to ensure customers enjoy every moment of their experience.

The unlimited player feature is the company’s absolute jackpot offering, which smashes traditional live casino conventions, that sees most rooms host just seven participants. On top of this, the developer’s high-end blackjack software guarantees full interaction between players and dealers.

Martin Hodges, Marketing Director at Vivo Gaming said: “We’re delighted and humbled to receive the award for Best Live Casino Supplier from EGR. We’ve striven to provide the best possible product for our customers and it’s truly gratifying to see that recognised on such a prestigious stage.

“We’ll continue to innovate and identify what our customers need and exceed those expectations.”

Chroma Key: Revolutionising the Live Casino sphere

One of the biggest challenges suppliers face in the wider live casino sphere is differentiation. There are a multitude of companies that offer live dealer solutions, but how many of them can say they truly stand out from the crowd?  How many can say they are striving to equip operators with something their customers haven’t seen before?

One of the cornerstones of Vivo Gaming’s live dealer offering is our unique Chroma Key solution. The innovation allows operators to effortlessly update their studio layout and backdrop in just a few clicks.

This means that if an operator has numerous unique website brand concepts, they can each be represented using their own brand colours, logos, catchphrases or images using just a single table, ultimately offering maximum brand output for minimum cost.

How does Vivo Gaming’s Chroma Key solution work?

Chroma key is surprisingly simple. It involves shooting a subject (in this case our live dealer and table) against a solid-colour background, and then replacing that background with transparency. This then means that dealer can then be placed in front of any new background, meaning one single studio can be transformed into absolutely anything at any time.

This is the same technology a weather presenter uses to make it seem as those a map is appearing behind them, except our technology allows operators to prepare for themes like:

  • Season events including Christmas or Halloween.
  • Sporting events such as the Olympics of FIFA World Cup.
  • Brand specific events like anniversaries and celebrations.
  • Game specific launches and promos.

Chroma Key ultimately gives operators the power to differentiate their live casino offering to other operators by making the most of this fully customisable technology.

What games can Vivo Gaming’s Chroma Key Solution be used with?

Our Chroma Key studio can be used to broadcast any of our games, including both our European and American live roulette games and more.

The Chroma Key solution also pairs well with our Live Casino Hold’em and unlimited blackjack games. As these games feature unlimited players against our expert dealer, using Chroma Key technology for this screen allows operators to take advantage of a streamlined set-up with maximum reach. Our full list of live casino products is as follows:

  • European Roulette
  • American Roulette
  • Blackjack
  • Baccarat
  • Casino Hold’em
  • Dragon Tiger
  • Sic Bo
  • Andar Bahar
  • Teen Patti

Why choose Vivo Gaming’s Chroma Key Solution?

Operators looking to broadcast all of their brands live at the same time in a cost-effective manner should consider integrating Vivo Gaming’s Chroma Key Solution. Rather than hire multiple dealers to work across an expensive range of tables, the entire process can be streamlined onto one table.

In addition to offering operators the opportunity to spice up their studio, Vivo Gaming’s Chroma Key solution can create bespoke user interfaces. All an operator need to do is select any number of colours, styles, and skins for their interface, and move features around as they choose. This will allow them to create a final product for their customers that is wholly unique to their brand.

For more information about how to integrate Vivo Gaming’s Chroma Key solution and games into an online casino, please get in touch with our team and we can make that happen.
